Artist Cinemas is a long-term, online series of film programs focused on exploring the moving image as understood by people who make film.

February 9—April 20, 2021
A new online series highlighting contemporary and historically important films and videos that examine unstable boundaries between fact and fiction, nature and artifice, objectivity and subjectivity, mediation and exposition. Programmed by Lukas Brasiskis, this series presents a selection of twenty-one artists’ films and videos, to be screened on e-flux Video & Film in five parts.

A new streaming program of staff picks and recommended videos designed to disrupt the monotony of an algorithm

August 14—November 8, 2020
An online screening series which places reflections on administrative, instrumental, and extractive treatments of nature at its forefront, and exposes various angles of interconnection between the natural and the human-made. Programmed by Lukas Brasiskis, this series presents a selection of twenty-two artists’ films and videos that will be screened on e-flux Video & Film in six parts.

e-flux and the International Short Film Festival Oberhausen collaborate on the joint screening series From My Window / From Window, inspired by Józef Robakowski's film Z mojego okna (From My Window).
